We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Gardener to work primarily with commercial clients across Folkestone and the surrounding areas.
MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENSE AND ACCESS TO OWN VEHICLE.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping, including experience using hand tools and machinery, along with a good working knowledge of block paving and other hard landscaping tasks. You must be comfortable working as part of a team and willing to take on a variety of landscaping duties.
As a Landscape Gardener, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing commercial outdoor spaces across the Folkestone area.
Responsibilities:

General landscaping and garden maintenance for commercial clients, including lawn care, planting, trimming and hedging.

Use of hand tools and machinery for tasks such as mowing, edging and digging.
*
Hard landscaping work, particularly block paving, including laying and maintaining paving surfaces.
*
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, following client specifications and safety guidelines.

Travel to various commercial sites across Folkestone and the surrounding areas, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification.

Assist with the installation of garden features such as water features, fencing and walls.
*
Maintain and care for all tools and machinery to ensure they remain in good working order.

Be available to work overtime on weekends when required, with overtime pay available.
Requirements:
*
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Landscape Gardener, with strong hands-on experience using both hand tools and machinery.

Good knowledge of block paving and other hard landscaping techniques.
*
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to reliable transport due to travel between sites and use of a company vehicle.
*
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
*
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude when dealing with clients.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
*
Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

Flexible approach to working hours, including availability for weekend overtime when required
