Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Chef/Cook to join their catering team on a weekend-only basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing fresh food, working in a structured kitchen environment, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
The Role
As Chef/Cook, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and ensuring meals are prepared and served efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
* Assisting with menu preparation and food presentation
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
* Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organisation
* Monitoring stock levels and supporting stock rotation
* Working efficiently during busy service periods
* Following all company health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or in a similar catering role
* Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and organised approach
* Passion for delivering quality food and service
