The role
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to work closely with class teachers and the ALNCo (Additional Learning Needs Coordinator) to support pupils' learning and development. The successful candidate will be confident using their initiative, adapting to new classroom environments, and building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be confident using their initiative and adapting to new classroom environments. You will support children with a range of needs and abilities, providing general classroom assistance as well as leading small group interventions where required.
Some pupils may require 1:1 support due to additional learning needs, so the ability to build positive relationships and tailor support to individual needs is essential. Flexibility, patience, and a child-centred approach are key to succeeding in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
