Yard Supervisor Required
We are looking for a reliable and organised Yard Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy yard and manage a small team of workers.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong leadership skills who can ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with daily schedules.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and supporting a small team of yard operatives
*
Planning and coordinating daily workloads against schedules
*
Ensuring materials, equipment, and stock are organised and accounted for
*
Monitoring productivity and maintaining high standards of work
*
Conducting daily briefings and allocating tasks
*
Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
*
Liaising with management regarding progress, resources, and any issues
Requirements:
*
Previous supervisory or team leader experience
*
SSSTS/gold card
*
Strong organisational and time management skills
*
Ability to work to schedules and deadlines
*
Good communication skills
*
Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
*
Knowledge of health & safety requirements within a yard or industrial environment
*
Own transport
