About this job

A great opportunity to work as a Food Production Operative at our clients site, a food manufacturing company specializing in the end to end production of Lamb products. Butchery, Packing and Dispatch all onsite.

Staffline are recruiting for Food Production Operative in Andover.

The rate of pay is £13.22 - £14.22 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £19.83 - £21.33 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 4pm

Your Time at Work

During your time as a Production Operative you will:

- Pick and package raw lamb meat while following the process outlined by the supervisors of the department.
- Sort and organise the packaged products into relevant client trays, pallets or areas.
- Ensure that the end product is suitable and to the standard upheld by quality control.

- Have strong teamwork skills and work well with others.
- Be physically fit and able to complete 5 day weeks in a physically demanding role.
- Behave in an approachable and professional manner at all times
- Willing and able to operate in all areas of the department
- Willing to undergo training to better support the department
- Adhere to site and department specific SOP's and SSOW
- Carry out a range of tasks as deemed reasonable by the management team
- Maintain a positive, proactive, flexible approach to all aspects of the job
- Maintain a culture of awareness and commitment to the highest standards of quality & food safety and as such they must lead by example and report any risks / concerns to Technical immediately
