Ready for a fresh challenge in the classroom? A supportive primary school in Reading is looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join its team on a full-time, temporary basis.
This role is ideal for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys creating exciting learning experiences and helping pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to flourish.
Your responsibilities
As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll be responsible for:
Delivering engaging lessons that follow the KS1 curriculum.
Establishing a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom.
Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching where needed.
Supporting children's academic and personal development.
Promoting independence, positive behaviour and curiosity.
Working collaboratively with parents, colleagues and school leaders.About you
We're looking for a Year 1 Teacher who has:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching at Key Stage 1.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
An engaging, creative and flexible teaching style.
A commitment to high standards and pupil achievement.
