Turn your passion for supporting children into a rewarding career

Looking for a fresh opportunity in education? We're working with a range of welcoming schools across Reading that are eager to bring enthusiastic, caring and dedicated support staff into their classrooms.

As an SEN TA, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils feel supported, develop independence and achieve their personal best. From providing one-to-one assistance to supporting small groups, you'll help children with a variety of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural challenges.

Could this be the role for you?

We're looking for an SEN TA who brings:

A positive attitude, initiative and resilience.
A genuine passion for helping children and young people succeed.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Flexibility when working across different school settings.
Patience, empathy and a nurturing personality.
A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. What experience do you need?

We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Early Years or specialist SEN roles.

Experience supporting pupils in KS1 or KS2 would be an advantage, but it isn't the only thing that matters. If you're motivated to learn, develop your skills and build a career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

As an SEN TA, you'll need to be available Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 3:30pm. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit different circumstances.

Why join us?

Every school brings a new opportunity to make a difference. As an SEN TA, you can gain valuable experience in different educational settings across Reading, strengthen your professional skills and work alongside teams who value the support you provide.

Whether you're an experienced SEN TA ready for a new challenge or taking your first steps towards a rewarding career in special educational needs, we'll help you explore opportunities that match your skills, experience and ambitions.

Ready to make a difference?

Your next opportunity could be just around the corner! If you're an enthusiastic SEN TA looking for your next role in Reading, apply today or contact Freddie Tustin on (phone number removed) for a confidential chat about current vacancies.

Take the next step in your education career and help every child reach their potential.
