Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring, patient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 child with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties at a lovely two form entry Primary school in Wandsworth.
As this is an asap start, trials are being held the week commencing 12th October.

SEND Teaching Assistant
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a KS1 pupil, providing consistent one-to-one support to help them access learning, develop positive relationships and manage their emotions throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing tailored one-to-one support to meet the child's individual needs.
Supporting emotional regulation and helping the child develop positive coping strategies.
Building a trusting relationship to create a safe and secure learning environment.
Encouraging positive behaviour, social interaction and independence.
Supporting the child to engage with classroom activities and the wider school environment.
Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to ensure consistent support.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting children with SEND, particularly social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Is calm, patient, empathetic and resilient.
Understands the importance of positive relationships and consistent boundaries.
Can respond sensitively to emotional challenges and challenging behaviour.
Is proactive, adaptable and passionate about helping children succeed.
Is available to work five days per week on a long-term basis.
