SEN Teaching Assistant - Wandsworth

We are looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Wandsworth.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced TA who wants to work with pupils with significant learning, physical, communication and sensory needs.
Your role
You will support pupils to:
Access their learning.
Develop communication.
Build independence.
Develop social skills.
Participate in sensory and practical activities.
Work towards individual EHCP outcomes.
You may also support personal care and mobility needs depending on the pupil.
We're looking for someone who is
Patient and nurturing.
Calm under pressure.
Comfortable working as part of a team.
Interested in developing their SEN knowledge.
Able to follow individual care and learning plans.
Committed to safeguarding.
Experience with physical disabilities, PMLD, complex medical needs or communication difficulties would be advantageous.
This is more than a classroom support role - you will become an important part of a child's development and independence.
