School Business Manager (SBM) - SEMH School

Location: Plaistow, Newham
Hours: Full-Time

Remedy Education is recruiting an experienced School Business Manager for a specialist SEMH school in Plaistow.

We are looking for a confident, organised and experienced professional who can take responsibility for the school's business functions and work closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing school budgets, finance, payroll and procurement

Overseeing HR processes, staffing and school administration

Managing and supporting administrative and premises teams

Overseeing contractors, building maintenance and facilities budgets

Ensuring health & safety, safeguarding and statutory compliance

Supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership with school operations and strategic planning

Requirements:

Previous School Business Manager or equivalent senior school management experience

Strong financial, HR and operational management skills

Excellent understanding of school health & safety and compliance

Confident managing staff, budgets and multiple responsibilities

SEN/SEMH school experience desirable
