Bright Star Talent is recruiting a Science Teacher for a secondary school in Ladywood, Birmingham.
We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, including supporting pupils with GCSE exam preparation. Applications are welcome from Biology, Chemistry and Physics specialists who are confident teaching the wider Science curriculum.
The role:

Plan and deliver Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Explain scientific concepts clearly and connect them to practical examples.
*
Deliver practical activities safely and develop pupils’ scientific enquiry skills.
*
Support GCSE preparation through revision, exam practice and targeted feedback.
*
Assess understanding and address misconceptions.
*
Adapt lessons to meet different abilities and learning needs.
*
Maintain clear classroom expectations and work closely with the Science department.
We are looking for:

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
Strong Science subject knowledge and secondary teaching experience.
*
Knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE Science curriculum.
*
Confidence managing practical lessons and classroom behaviour.
*
An organised, inclusive approach and high expectations for pupils.
