Class 2 Driver – Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am starts
Location: Stoke-on-Trent 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client’s busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work with consistent 8:00am starts.

Details of this Class 2 Driving role:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting palletised goods across the ST, CW and SY postcode areas.

You will typically complete around 20 deliveries/collections per day, with loads transported on a curtain-side vehicle.

Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver:

Driving a Class 2 curtain-side vehicle

Completing approximately 20 deliveries/collections per day

Delivering palletised goods across ST, CW and SY

Using an electric pump truck where required

Working alongside sites where goods are offloaded by FLT

Completing all necessary delivery paperwork and vehicle checks

Requirements of this Class 2 Driving role:

Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

Previous Class 2 driving experience

Good knowledge of the local road network

Working Hours & Pay of this Class 2 Driving role:

Monday to Friday

8:00am start times

£15.50 per hour
