About this job

Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed SEND Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 educational support to a learner in Oldham.

This opportunity would suit an experienced teacher or tutor who can adapt their approach, build trust and create positive learning experiences for a learner with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition
Adapt lessons and resources to individual needs
Support academic and personal development
Encourage engagement and confidence
Establish positive learning routines
Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback

Requirements
Experience working with children or young people
Previous experience supporting learners with SEND
Patient, adaptable and supportive approach
Strong communication skills
Teaching or tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
