6-Month Contract

The Senior Electronics Engineer (BMS) will play a key role in the development of advanced battery management and control systems for electrification applications. Working across the full product development lifecycle, you will be responsible for designing, developing and validating electronic hardware solutions, supporting projects from concept through to testing and integration.
 
The Senior Electronics Engineer (BMS) will:

Design electronic control systems for battery, power electronics and electrification applications.
Develop electronic hardware incorporating microcontrollers, power supplies, analogue and digital interfaces, sensing circuits and FPGAs.
Produce electronic schematics and support PCB design and layout activities.
Commission, test and verify electronic systems against requirements and relevant standards.
Support prototype builds, system integration and fault-finding activities.
Contribute to requirements management, FMEA activities and hardware functional safety compliance.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and internal engineering teams throughout development.  
The Senior Electronics Engineer (BMS) will have:

Experience developing electronic control systems within automotive, battery, energy storage or related industries.
Strong analogue and digital electronic design experience.
Knowledge of microcontrollers, communication protocols and sensing technologies.
Experience producing schematics and supporting PCB design activities.
Understanding of FMEA, systems engineering principles and hardware functional safety.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
