Temporary Finance Administrator

Location: Stockport
Duration: Approximately 6 Weeks
Salary: £13.50ph - £15ph

Key Responsibilities

Processing and matching supplier invoices within the finance system.
Reviewing and validating supplier charges, ensuring accuracy against supporting documentation.
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.
Completing regular supplier account reconciliations.
Assisting with the preparation and processing of supplier payments.
Monitoring and administering petty cash transactions.
Generating and distributing customer account statements.
Uploading customer invoices to online customer portals.
Supporting credit control activities and following up outstanding payments.
Processing daily banking transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Completing daily bank reconciliations and investigating any variances.
Managing company credit card expenditure and associated reporting.
Maintaining expense records and ensuring transactions are accurately accounted for.
Managing the accounts email inbox and responding to finance-related enquiries.
Providing general finance and administrative support as required.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

Previous experience within a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or similar finance role.
Strong working knowledge of accounting processes and financial administration.
Experience using accounting software, with Microsoft Business Central being highly desirable.
Good Excel and general IT skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
