An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Goods In/Out Operative to join a busy and growing organisation in Dartford. This role is ideal for someone with experience in goods receiving, dispatch, stock control and customer service who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Goods In/Out Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the business. You will be responsible for receiving, booking in, picking, packing and dispatching products, while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Picking and packing products for dispatch

Receiving and booking in incoming goods

Logging information accurately onto the ERP system
Managing incoming and outgoing courier deliveries
Packaging products securely and arranging collections
Greeting customers and providing a professional service during handovers
Completing all relevant documentation for incoming and outgoing items
Maintaining a tidy and organised area

Carrying out regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
Supporting periodic full stock takes
Assisting wider teams as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience within a Goods In, Goods Out, Stores or Warehouse role
Experience within a customer-facing environment
Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
The ability to manage changing priorities effectively
A positive and proactive approach to work
Strong communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Due to location, you do require your own transport
