The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and speech and language needs.
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive, and accessible lessons.
Provide 1:1 and/or small group support, adapting daily activities to meet individual learning needs.
Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and social development during learning sessions, therapies, and playtimes.
Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can progress and succeed.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children in the UK is essential; experience supporting children with SEND, Autism, ADHD, or other additional needs is desirable.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A calm, patient, caring, and resilient approach.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.Why Apply?
