Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Store deliveries and cage work in predominantly double deck trailers

Pay Rate: £18.04 to £19.79 p/h (static clock)
Shifts: Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift - Sunday to Thursday (Days + Nights)
Driver Type: Class 1 (C+E)

Join a well-established operation with consistent work, modern vehicles and immediate starts available. Initial routes will be completed with established drivers, to help you understand the finer details of the role.

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:
Deliveries are primarily caged deliveries to Hobbycraft stores
There may be the occasional pallet, but the vast majority of the work is cage-based
Drivers are responsible for:
Delivering cages into the store
Returning salvage
Managing the delivery paperwork/process correctly
Both day and night drivers will physically handle the cage deliveries

To be considered for this role, you'll need:
A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
At least 2 years' commercial Class 1 driving experience
A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer serviceOur client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
