Refuse & Recycling Loaders
Location: Slough
Pay: £14.47 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 6:00am–2:00pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Vanta Staffing is recruiting experienced Refuse & Recycling Loaders for ongoing work in the Slough area.
This is a very physical outdoor role working as part of a busy refuse and recycling collection crew. You will be active throughout your shift and could be walking approximately 20,000 steps per day.
The Role
Collecting refuse and recycling
Loading bins and waste safely onto collection vehicles
Walking collection routes throughout the Slough area
Working closely with drivers and other crew members
Repeated manual handling throughout the shift
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Essential Requirements
You must:
Have previous refuse/recycling or similar relevant experience
Be physically fit and capable of demanding manual work
Be comfortable walking long distances throughout your shift
Be happy working outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions
Be comfortable with repeated lifting and manual handling
Be reliable and punctual
Be able to reliably attend a 6:00am start
Due to the early start time, please ensure you have suitable transport and can reliably travel to Slough for 6:00am before applying.
