You should be running your business; not your business running you

We spend so much of our time just ‘doing.’ We move from one thing to the next. None more so, perhaps, than contractors, who find one three-month contract is often dovetailed into the next. You’ll get through a challenging week, or a torrid month and the next thing you know, the year has gone by. I get it -- life is just busy! Or hyper-busy if you’re a contractor. And living day-to-day, week-to-week, firefighting, will just mean surviving.

Think what you could do if you made things happen for you -- rather than things happening to you.
