We're currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technicians to join a well-established and innovative engineering manufacturer based in Wallsend.
This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Electrical Technicians looking for a secure, long-term temporary contract.
You will play a key role in assembling, wiring, and testing specialised control panels engineered for high-spec energy and industrial applications.
This role will require you to work night shifts as well in the long term so you must be flexible to work both shifts.

* Monday to Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm
* 25 days' holiday, increasing with service

Key Responsibilities -
* Point-to-point wiring, assembly, and integration of control panels to exact client specs and safety standards.
* Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and layout diagrams accurately.
* Fit relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and associated hardware.
* Carry out initial electrical inspections, continuity checks, and fault-finding prior to testing.
About You -
To be successful in this role, you'll have -
* Proven experience as an Electrical Technician with a strong background in control panel building.
* Previous experience within Oil & Gas, subsea or heavy engineering is desirable.
* Relevant recognised electrical qualification, NVQ or City and Guilds with working experience.
