Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher include:
Create and maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive leaning environment for pupils with SEN
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet individual needs of pupils
Monitor, asses and record pupils progress and development
Work collaboratively with the schools staff/team to ensure the best outcome for every pupilRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching approaches
An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
