Site Manager – Residential Groundworks

Location: Reading, Berkshire
Rate: Negotiable DOE
Start: Immediate
Duration: 2–3 Months / Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a large and well-established groundworks contractor on a residential groundworks package in Reading.

The project is initially 2–3 months, with immediate interviews and start available. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to move into a temp-to-perm position, with a very large and secure pipeline of further work.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day residential groundworks activities.

*

Coordinate site teams, labour and subcontractors.

*

Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.

*

Monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.

*

Liaise with engineers and the wider project team.

*

Coordinate labour, plant and materials.

Requirements

*

Previous Site Manager experience within groundworks.

*

Strong residential groundworks background.

*

SMSTS – Essential.

*

CSCS – Essential.

*

Strong communication and leadership skills.
