The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to engage with learning, develop their independence and achieve their individual goals.

You will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide tailored support in the classroom and across the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils with their learning and development.

Helping pupils to develop confidence, independence and social skills.

Supporting positive behaviour and engagement.

Assisting with personal care where required.

Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are:

Previous experience working within an SEN setting is desirable, but we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience and a genuine passion for making a difference.

Why Join The Grange?

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a specialist school community where every pupil is supported as an individual.

You'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to young people's lives while developing your own skills and experience within a supportive educational environment.
