We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a housing association contract in Banbury, carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance across residential properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a long-term position, with the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.
The Role
As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out domestic gas repairs and maintenance.
Diagnosing and repairing gas and heating faults.
Working across housing association properties.
Wiring and connecting heating control panels.
Completing work safely and to a high standard.
Maintaining accurate paperwork and job records.
Providing excellent customer service to residents.Requirements
The successful Gas Engineer must have:
Gas Safe registration.
Relevant ACS qualifications.
Experience carrying out domestic gas repairs.
Experience with wiring heating controls/control panels.
A full UK driving licence.
Previous experience working in domestic properties.
Good communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.Benefits
£25 per hour via agency.
Temporary to permanent opportunity.
£46,000 per annum once permanent.
Company van provided.
Fuel provided.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
