SENIOR ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER
BIR is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer / Project Engineer to join our team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking for their next career move, with the opportunity to working for Main contractor/ Developer.
The Role
As Senior Engineer / Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion, working closely with the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects.
* Managing and coordinating engineering activities on site.
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, programmes, and technical information.
* Monitoring progress, quality, and site performance.
* Coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
* Assisting with project planning, reporting, and programme management.
* Identifying and resolving technical and construction issues.
* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
* Supporting commercial and project management activities where required.
* Ensuring health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements are maintained.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
* Proven experience as a Senior Engineer, Site Engineer or Project Engineer.
* Strong technical and engineering knowledge.
* Experience within RC Frame and Groundworks.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* The ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Good understanding of construction processes, drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
* Relevant engineering/construction qualifications are desirable.
