We are partnering with a number of primary schools across the NP44 area that are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 settings from October 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to gain valuable classroom experience within welcoming and supportive school environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
* Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning outcomes.
* Encouraging pupil participation, confidence and independence.
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children, young people or within an educational setting is desirable.
* A positive, patient and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
