Lecturer - Electrical Engineering

£40 - £55 per hour Inside IR35

3 months Rolling (Potential full curriculum year)

Location - Tamworth

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineering Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next looking for your next immediately available contract role?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Electrical Installation professional ready to pass on your knowledge?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college

The Role:

Subject to be taught are as followsEAL Unit 55: Engineering Design Process
EAL Unit 15: Engineering Maintenance
BTEC Unit 6: Microcontroller Systems for Engineers
BTEC Unit 4: Applied Commercial and Quality Principles in Engineering
BTEC Unit 10: Computer Aided Design in Engineering

Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
£40 - £50 -6 - 12 monthsThe Person:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
Current or previous industry experience working in Electrical engineering or similar industries
Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training) and/or TAQA, A1/D32/D33 preferred, although not essential
Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS checkReference Number: BBBH (phone number removed)
