Production Operative
Location: Halifax
Hourly Rate: £13.06 p/h
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm (Overtime currently available, flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts is required)
Contract Type: Temporary

Stafflex are currently recruiting for a production operative to join a busy logistics and manufacturing operation in Halifax. This is a hands on role that is split between forklift and warehouse duties. We're looking for someone reliable, flexible and happy to get involved across the logistics operation.

Duties include:

Operating machines safely and efficiently
Moving work in progress and materials around site
Supplying production lines with materials and packaging
Packing finished goods ready for despatch, including wrapping and labelling
Loading finished goods onto vehicles for despatch
Maintaining a high standard of warehouse housekeeping
Supporting colleagues and working as part of a wider team
Working independently when required
Assisting with training and becoming multi-skilled across the departmentRequirements:

Previous experience in warehousing/logistics environments
Willingness to work overtime and 12-hour shifts when required
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
A driving license and access to transport is highly desirable due to the location and shift times
