Warehouse Operative

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in double glazing, window manufacturing, glazing, or a similar production environment, who is looking for a stable, long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, physically fit, and confident working accurately in a fast-paced factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting with the manufacture and assembly of double-glazed windows and frames

* Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure

* Operating machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently

* Carrying out quality checks on finished products

* Following production schedules, drawings, and work instructions

* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

* Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

* Supporting other areas of the factory when required

Requirements

* Confident using a tape measure and working with precise measurements — essential

* Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work

* Ability to follow instructions and work accurately

* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

* Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy factory environment

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
