We are looking for reliable and hardworking Packing Operatives to join our busy production team. The successful candidates will play a key role in the packing and preparation of fresh produce, ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Packing fresh produce in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
* Inspecting products for quality, freshness, and presentation.
* Labelling and preparing orders for dispatch.
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment.
* Following food safety, health and safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
* Operating packing equipment safely and efficiently (training provided where required).
* Reporting any quality concerns, equipment faults, or health and safety issues to supervisors.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
* Assisting with other warehouse and production duties as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a production, packing, warehouse, or food manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing for extended periods and manual handling duties.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime during peak periods if required.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Must have a Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
