Role Overview
Deliver & Engage: Plan and deliver dynamic lessons across Humanities subjects (Geography, History, or Religious Education) at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities for subject specialists).

Flexibility: Step into Humanities departments across Chester for daily cover, short-term absences, or planned long-term block placements.

Inspire Critical Thinking: Engage students with topical global issues, historical inquiry, ethical debates, and source analysis, adapting lessons to suit diverse learning styles.

Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of student behavior, using positive strategies to create a structured and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
Qualifications: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography, History, Religious Studies, or a related Humanities discipline.

Subject Knowledge: Strong command of the UK National Curriculum across KS3 and KS4 within your specialist Humanities field(s).

Classroom Skills: Excellent communication, strong classroom control, and the ability to differentiate complex concepts for diverse abilities.

Compliance & Location: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and the ability to commute around Chester and surrounding Cheshire West areas.
