Document Controller

Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to join a major Data Centre project for a leading main contractor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all project documentation, ensuring information is accurately recorded, controlled and distributed across the project team, subcontractors and wider supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and maintain the project document control system.

* Upload, issue, track and distribute project documentation.

* Manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, transmittals and technical documentation.

* Ensure all documentation is correctly version-controlled.

* Liaise with site teams, design teams, subcontractors and consultants.

* Maintain accurate document registers and ensure information is issued within agreed timescales.

* Support the project team with document searches, reporting and audits.

* Ensure project information is managed in accordance with company procedures and QA requirements.

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Document Controller within construction.

* Data Centre experience highly desirable.

* Strong understanding of construction documentation and document control processes.

* Procore experience is essential.

* Excellent IT and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple priorities.
