PK Education are looking for a Graduate Teacher / Cover Supervisor to work part-time within secondary schools across Sheffield from September.

This is aimed at graduates who are considering a career in teaching and want to gain meaningful classroom experience without committing to a full-time role. It's particularly suited to graduates with a strong academic background who are considering a future PGCE or teacher training route.

You'll work across KS3 and KS4, taking classes through pre-planned lessons and developing the classroom management skills needed for a future teaching career.

The Role

Supervising and delivering pre-planned lessons
Working with KS3 and KS4 students
Managing behaviour and keeping students engaged
Supporting students with their work
Building valuable secondary classroom experience

We're Looking For

A degree in any subject
Strong communication skills
Confidence working with young people
Professional and reliable approach
Genuine interest in progressing into teaching
Previous experience with children or young people is advantageous
