Role Overview
Deliver & Engage: Teach practical and theoretical D&T lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics, Engineering, or Food Technology).

Flexibility: Step into D&T departments across Warrington for daily cover, short-term absences, or planned long-term block placements.

Workshop Safety: Maintain high health and safety standards, enforcing workshop protocols while students work with tools, machinery, materials, and CAD/CAM software.

Student Guidance: Guide students through practical design-and-make projects and coursework.

Requirements
Qualifications: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Design & Technology, Product Design, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.

Subject Knowledge: Strong command of the UK National Curriculum for D&T across KS3/KS4 and awareness of health and safety guidelines.

Practical Skills: Confidence in managing practical workshop environments, machinery, and design-and-make activities safely.

Compliance & Location: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and the ability to commute around Warrington.
