Project Support Officer (PSO) - NHS Digital Project Experience

Our client a large consultancy who are supporting a large digital transformation project for a large NHS Trust are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Support Officer (PSO) to join our team and support the successful delivery of a complex digital transformation programme.
Candidates must have previous experience working on NHS Digital projects or programmes, with a strong understanding of the governance, processes and delivery environment associated with large-scale NHS technology and transformation initiatives.
You will provide high-quality project support across planning, governance, reporting, RAID management, documentation and stakeholder coordination, working closely with Project Managers, Programme Managers and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day project and programme support to ensure effective delivery.
Maintain project plans, schedules, action logs and key project documentation.
Manage and coordinate RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).
Prepare regular project reports, dashboards and management information.
Organise project meetings, workshops and governance forums, including agendas, minutes and actions.
Track project milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
Support financial, resource and delivery tracking.
Ensure project governance and reporting requirements are consistently maintained.
Coordinate information and updates across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Assist with the preparation of papers and presentations for senior governance meetings.
Support change control and the management of project documentation.
Work collaboratively with technical, operational, clinical and business stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who is:
An experienced Project Support Officer / Project Coordinator / PMO professional in a NHS digital environment.
Able to demonstrate hands-on experience supporting NHS Digital projects or programmes (essential)
Familiar with NHS digital transformation and large-scale technology delivery environments.
Highly organised, structured and detail-oriented.
Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experienced in producing high-quality reports and management information.
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
Experienced with project management tools and methodologies.
Inside of IR35 - Payment via an umbrella company.
