Procurement Specialist

Location: Warwick

Daily Rate: £(Apply online only) per day DOE

Contract Length: 6 Months

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and requirements.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and evaluate their performance.
Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms while ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
Manage supplier relationships to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Monitor and report on procurement activities, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives, offering procurement expertise as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies in all procurement activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within a similar industry.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiation.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
