Python Developer

My client is a leading financial markets organisation that is looking to hire a Python Developer to support the delivery of next-generation risk analytics and data platform capabilities. This is an engineering-focused Python Developer role, centred around building, testing, deploying and supporting production-grade applications. You'll be responsible for helping the production of risk analytics, developing cloud-ready services, and owning solutions through the full software development lifecycle.

Day Rate: Up to £900pd via Umbrella
Location: London (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP

Key Requirements

Strong Python development background, ideally some expeirnce in financial services.
Experience within a quantitative risk, market risk or risk analytics environment would be advantageous.
Experience owning applications from development through to production, including CI/CD and deployment.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Strong automated testing, TDD, Git and software engineering best practices.
Experience working across DevOps, APIs, cloud platforms and wider engineering teams.What you need to do now
