Zest Education | Staffordshire

Start Date: January 2027 | Full-Time Position

Are you passionate about education and looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

Zest Education is looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Full-Time Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in the Staffordshire area, starting in January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, has a positive attitude and wants to gain valuable experience in a secondary school environment.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment when teachers are absent. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supervising classes of secondary school students across a range of subjects.

* Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task.

* Managing classroom behaviour in line with each school's policies.

* Creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.

* Supporting students with their work and encouraging participation.

* Liaising with teaching staff and school leaders where necessary.

* Adapting to different school environments and building positive relationships with students and staff.

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who are:

* Confident communicating with and managing secondary school students.

* Reliable, punctual, and professional.

* Enthusiastic about education and supporting young people's development.

* Calm, adaptable and able to use their initiative.

* Interested in gaining experience within the education sector.

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential for the right candidate. Graduates, aspiring teachers, and individuals considering a career in education are particularly encouraged to apply.

Why Work with Zest Education?

At Zest Education, we are passionate about connecting talented individuals with schools where they can make a genuine difference.

By joining our team, you can benefit from:

* A full-time opportunity starting in January 2027.

* The chance to gain valuable experience in a variety of secondary school settings.

* Opportunities to develop your classroom management and communication skills.

* Support from a dedicated education recruitment team.

* The opportunity to make a positive impact on students' education and development
