Pertemps are looking for a Machine Operator for our manufacturing clinet in Hortonwood 

The Role of a Machine Operator

We are recruiting a Process Operator / Tool Slinger-Setter to support injection moulding, packaging and automation processes within a busy manufacturing environment. You will help ensure products meet quality standards, production targets are achieved, and health and safety procedures are maintained at all times. 

Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operator:

Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently. 

Operate packaging and automation machinery as required. 

Load tooling into machinery and assist with machine set-up. 

Develop towards independent machine setting following training and assessment. 

Monitor product quality and take corrective action where required. 

Meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. 

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards. 

Support colleagues and other production areas when required. 
What We're Looking For in a Machine Operator:

Basic process knowledge and understanding of machine controls. 

Understanding of quality standards and product specifications. 

Good awareness of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment. 

Reliable team player with good communication skills. 

Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
