Teaching Assistant
FULL TIME, UNTIL JULY 2027 STARTING IMMEDIATELY
We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Salford that is looking to appoint five Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support students aged 11-18 in achieving their full potential. The successful candidates will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
- Location: Salford M6 - Position: Teaching Assistant
- Type of Work: Long-term classroom support
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: Until July 2027
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time
- Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP100 per day
- Hours: 8:30am 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent Graduate with a 2:2 degree or above, or
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, or
- Experience working with young people through coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports, or similar settings
- Previous experience working within a UK school is desirable
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references related to working with children or young people
