Technical Data & Document Controller – SC Cleared
Location: Northwood, Greater London
Pay: £300–£400 per day
Contract: Approximately 9 months, with potential extension

### The Opportunity
LYNX Employment Services are recruiting an experienced Technical Data & Document Controller for a specialist asset management project at a Ministry of Defence site in Northwood.
This is a substantial asset verification and information management assignment, supporting the accurate recording, validation and handover of approximately 30,000 assets. Working alongside an established asset management team, you'll help ensure that technical records, maintenance information and asset databases are accurate, accessible and suitable for ongoing operational use.
The role combines technical data management, document control, CAFM systems, asset verification and management reporting.
### Key Responsibilities
Maintain and validate asset records across CAFM systems, databases and information management platforms.
Support the verification and accurate recording of mechanical, electrical, building fabric and other operational assets.
Manage technical documentation, electronic filing structures and supporting records.
Support asset handover processes, ensuring maintenance strategies, planned preventative maintenance schedules, spare parts information and job plans are accurately recorded.
Produce Excel reports, management information and monthly performance dashboards.
Analyse asset information, identify discrepancies and highlight data integrity risks.
Support contractual audits, statutory compliance checks and technical assurance activities.
Liaise with operational teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to obtain and verify information.
Monitor service delivery information against contractual requirements and service level agreements.
Support general facilities coordination and asset management administration where required.
### Essential Requirements
You must already hold SC security clearance.
We're also looking for:
Strong experience in technical data management, asset information or document control.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365.
Experience using CAFM databases, ideally Concept Evolution or similar.
Experience with asset capture software, ideally Mobiess or equivalent.
A relevant Level 4 or higher technical or numerical qualification.
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
Experience producing accurate reports, dashboards and management information.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
Confidence communicating with technical teams and operational stakeholders.
Experience in facilities management, building services, asset management or complex infrastructure environments would be particularly relevant.
