We are currently looking for an experienced Demolition Site Manager to oversee works on a project in London working for an established client. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in demolition, excellent site management skills and the ability to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the clients standards.
Requirements:
✅ Extensive experience managing demolition projects
✅ Strong knowledge of demolition methods, sequencing and procedures
✅ Proven experience supervising site teams, subcontractors and plant operations
✅ Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and demolition-specific risks
✅ Experience preparing, reviewing and implementing RAMS
✅ Ability to coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials
✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✅ Relevant CSCS card and appropriate supervisory/management qualifications
✅ Reliable, proactive and able to manage site operations independently
Duties:
📋Oversee day-to-day demolition site operations
📋Manage and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and plant
📋Ensure demolition works are carried out safely and in line with the agreed programme
📋Implement and monitor RAMS, risk assessments and safe systems of work
📋Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
📋Coordinate resources, equipment and materials to maintain progress
📋Liaise with project managers, site teams and other contractors
📋Monitor work quality, productivity and programme deadlines
📋Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety
📋Identify and manage site risks
