Machine Operator (Saw)

At The Recruitment Group we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Machine Operative for a well-established global company in Loughborough.

As a Machine Operative you will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically involved in producing components for retail merchandising displays. 

Pay for the Saw Machinist:

£12.71 to £12.85 with enhanced overtime rates

Hours/Shifts:

Monday to Thursday 7:45 to 16:30 Friday 7:45 to 15:15
Overtime available by discussion

Location:

Loughborough

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating and setting up woodworking machinery
Operating table saws, mitre saws, bandsaws
Cutting plastic and wood

Requirements and Skills:

Previous experience working with woodworking machinery 
Posses practical Health & Safety knowledge an stadard operating procedures 
A keen eye for detail and ability to quickly identify any components out of specification 
Competent in Maths and fluent in speaking and reading English 
Have a positive, can-do attitude
Willingness to continuously learn, keep up to date with new procedures and desire to share skills and knowledge.
