Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in the local area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is practically minded and wants to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities for the Machine Operative:

Supporting the production and manufacturing process
Using basic hand tools and equipment
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials to specification
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Following production instructions and health & safety procedures
Keeping the workspace clean, organised and safeThe ideal Machine Operative candidate will:

Have previous experience in a factory, production or workshop environment
Be confident using basic hand tools
Have good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Be comfortable working as part of a teamFull training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
