The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Support pupils in thorough preparation for their GCSE Maths examinations
Plan and deliver well-structured, inspiring lessons that foster a love of learning
Consistently implement the school’s schemes of learning with fidelity
Develop strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with guidance from experienced colleagues
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specialising in Maths
Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are warmly encouraged to apply
Experience teaching Maths through training placements or previous roles
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
