Location: Basildon, Essex
Pay Rate: £14.35 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join an established and growing company based in Basildon, Essex.

This is a temporary opportunity with the potential for long-term employment, offering the chance to join a business that is expanding and investing in its workforce.

Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves operating forklifts on public roads.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver:

Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles
Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
Completing relevant paperwork and system checks
Supporting general warehouse duties and maintaining high housekeeping standards
Carrying out manual handling tasks as required
The ideal Forklift Driver:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
Minimum of two years' forklift driving experience
Previous experience within a Logistics, Distribution and supply chain enviroment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude
