Give pupils the tools to form an argument, solve a problem and feel proud of a piece of work. Transparency Education is recruiting a KS2 Teacher for a primary school opportunity in Southwark.

This class teaching role calls for thoughtful planning, clear explanations and a genuine interest in how children learn. You will help pupils strengthen core skills while making space for the wider curriculum, discussion and independent thinking.

• Model writing and support pupils to revise and improve their work.

• Use discussion and carefully chosen questions to deepen understanding.

• Plan appropriate support and challenge based on assessment.

• Work with classroom colleagues and families to maintain clear expectations.

Requirements

• QTS and relevant experience in Key Stage 2.

• Confident curriculum knowledge and a practical approach to assessment.

• Strong organisation and the ability to build respectful classroom relationships.

• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one as part of the recruitment process.

What the role offers

• The chance to develop a class’s learning habits over time.

• An opportunity to combine subject enthusiasm with inclusive teaching.
