Warehouse Operative / Yard Operator
Location: Kirkhill, Aberdeen
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Contract:6 months, with potential to go permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
Overtime: Available at time and a half
The Role
Kinetic Industrial is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative / Yard Operator to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business in Kirkhill, Aberdeen.
You'll support daily warehouse and yard operations, handling specialist equipment, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store and dispatch stock, tooling and equipment.
- Operate FLTs and other material handling equipment safely.
- Carry out stock checks and update inventory records using SAP.
- Load and unload deliveries, securing heavy equipment with ratchet straps.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety.
- Work closely with logistics, workshop and operational teams.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, yard, logistics or industrial experience.
- Current or recently expired **FLT Counterbalance B3 and Combi M3 licences**.
- Good IT skills; SAP experience advantageous.
- Experience handling heavy equipment or engineering materials beneficial.
- Reliable, safety-conscious and a good team player.
