Job Description

Reactive Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a social housing repairs and maintenance team covering various areas across London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with experience in domestic repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out all aspects of carpentry repairs and maintenance within residential properties.

* Completing door repairs, hanging doors and fitting locks.

* Repairing and replacing skirting boards, architraves and door frames.

* Carrying out kitchen and bathroom carpentry repairs.

* Completing planned and reactive maintenance works.

* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

* Maintaining good communication with residents and the wider team.

* Working safely and professionally in occupied properties.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Carpenter.

* Experience in repairs and maintenance.

* Social housing experience preferred.

* Relevant NVQ or equivalent carpentry qualification preferred.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
